Cool Cafe blends “Fine Southern Food” and scratch cookin’ for a scrumptious and hearty meal for lunch and dinner. Entrees like Fried Chicken, Meatloaf, Pot Roast, and Chef’s Specials such as Lemon Baked Chicken, Baked Tilapia and Chicken Mexico team up with a variety of freshly cooked vegetables such as, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Fried Corn, Turnip Greens, White Beans, Creamed Spinach, Fried Okra and Mac and Cheese. All are served with your choice of yeast rolls or cornbread.

A must have is dessert, and oh, what choices there are! The house special served everyday is the World Famous Banana Pudding, made from scratch pudding, fresh bananas, vanilla wafers and a 5 inch cloud of real meringue! Then there are the fruit cobblers, two choices daily, apple, cherry, peach, and blackberry. The daily specials rotate and there are choices like made from scratch Brownies and Chocolate Chip Cookies. There are a variety of cupcakes,
Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing, and Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Icing! Be on the lookout for new and/or seasonal desserts, such as Pumpkin or Pecan Pie!
The Cool Cafe was a long time dream for owner/chef,
Tim Ness. The café opened in July of 2005 and has added a much needed expansion of the dining room in July 2011.
As part of our commitment to continue to grow and provide excellent service and food to our customers, we have recently conducted a survey to determine where our customers come from and how often they dine with us. We found that 43% of our customers dine at the café once
or twice each week and that 20% of the people surveyed have been customers since 2005! The majority of our customers come from Franklin, Cool Springs and Brentwood. Others come
from as far away as Mount Juliet, Spring Hill, Bellevue, and many travelers from other states. When diners come in day after day from near and far, we truly become a family…one big happy Cool Café Family!
Throughout our 13 years in business, we have regularly participated in many community events, such as, the Wine Down Main Street benefit for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Williamson County, Franklin Wine Festival benefit for Big Brothers and Sisters, Three Blind Vines, and A Vintage Affair. We are committed to supporting these events and enjoy being a part of the Franklin and Nashville communities.
